Dan & Bill take advantage of a nice day in January to take the A's for a spin.

Same weekend 'World of Wheels' in Peachland. Not warm enough for the air conditioner just yet!

The Tudhope that our Chapter restored several years ago! Has been residing in the Kelowna Museum for a number of years, so discretion won over bravado - it led the Parade on a trailer!

. . . and the rest of the vintage cars followed.

Another Thursday Nite Tour took us out to Jim's Business in Peachland.

Larry cooking up the onions while Rick and Jack talk shop. The club provided the food services for the Tractor Show again this year.

Second day and Al is busy cooking up the burgers.

The hamburgers must be good! Gwen is digging right in, much to the amusement of Jack!

LUMBY DAY'S Clown matches the '55 DeSoto.

The Car Show was well received by the folks attending the Lumby Day's Celebrations. This was a first. Hopefully again next year, as it is a beautiful run up to Lumby in the old cars!

Original Model T drew lots of attention! Especially from the younger set! Of course the old folks had a few tales to tell, too!

Annual Downtown Kelowna Show & Shine 2009!

Oh my! That doesn't look good! Word soon spreads about the massive Glenrosa Forest Fire.

Breakfast prior to the Inter-Chapter Event at Pike's and Bergeron's.

Checking out one of the Pringle's steam engine and treasures before we headed over to Ian & Dee's.

Parking lot at Ian & Dee's. The 1909 Maxwell, one of the treasures we discovered at the last stop, sits front dead centre for all to admire!

Sunshine and good company as folks from the Kamloops, Shuswap, Merritt and North Okanagan Chapters gather for a day of touring, visiting and of course eating!

Meanwhile the boys are cooking up a storm!

WOW! Is there going to be enough food to feed all these folks?

Looks like we will be OK!

Next door Jack's '33 Ford and Daphne's Hat House were a hit, too!

Another Sunday and the South Okanagan Chapter and the Okanagan Chapter met at the Summerland Research Station for a picnic lunch .

Some beauties in the parking lot waiting to hit the road.

A marvellous collection we visited along the way! Ok! They are all nice, but this one is our choice!

A large contingent left early in the morning, heading to Quesnel for the Gold Pan Steak-Out Show & Shine. Well that was the excuse for the trip anyway!

Stops along the way helped break up the driving and provided a few treasures to lug home.

Camp One, Lac la Hache. Great day of driving!

Amazing how Pot Lucks are always a winner!

Great place to gather, socialize and dance.

Meanwhile the boys are out back of the Kersley Hall doing up the steaks!

That's it folks! Time for some to head home, while others took a side trip out to Barkerville. A super tour!

Dennis & Bill's Fun DRIVING Tour at the O'Keefe Ranch for a relieving and refilling stop.

A Garage Tour along the Salmon River Road.

Dennis listens in while Bruce explains the cars to the owner of the property, who just happened to be an old business acquaintance when they both were in Quesnel.

Picnic lunch and time to tour the Haney Park in Salmon Arm.

The Museum, a small cafe and several heritage buildings (two were refurbished by the Shuswap Chapter) are well worth exploring!

Grindrod and the Hub Cap Emporium was a fun stop along the way to the Ice Cream Shop in Enderby.

CHRISTINA LAKE LABOUR DAY WEEKEND campout sponsored by the Columbia Chapter.

We made it! Time to set up camp.

Time to sign in, renew friendships, and of course eat!

Traditional day tour took cars to the Doukabour Museum at Grandforks.

Bill & Dan took the A's out for a spin to celebrate National Model A Day.

Wednesday Nite Show & Shines at McCurdy Road were part of the summer fun, too.

Electric pickup created by Ward's electric owner was a hit at one of the shows!

Another great time at Reinette and Don's playground.

Time to hit the road home. Downhill this time!

First card for the Annual POKER RUN Enderby is the destination this year.

First stop is the Pike's and card #2.

Village cheese Factory in Armstrong and card #4. Yah I know, I missed card #3 - we did that one at the Kalamalka Lookout.

Enderby Lions Park with a scrumptious BBQ provided by the Lions Club.

CRATER VALLEY ANNUAL STEAM SHOW at Westwold is a great driving tour.

A real live steam car! A real bonus in the car show section.

Lots of steam machines like this Marion Steam Shovel, a working steam sawmill, and many other steam engines makes for a very interesting day.

OK folks! I think it is time to put the cars away!

This year's silly award winner received a map and a can of gas. For those who don't remember, the map is for getting lost on the Poker Run, and the gas is so he won't be late for a meeting when he runs out of gas again!
